Lady Logan, X-23 reimagined

This concept was done for Superhero of the Month (superheroofthemonth.com) just for fun. It's a website that holds monthly contests for redesigning and reimagining various superheroes and superheroines. This month of May was dedicated to redesigning X-23.

I'm not too familiar with X-23 but from what I've read she's supposed to be a female clone of Logan/Wolverine, so my take was to take those words quite literally. I imagined what Logan would look like if a female version existed and here's what came out. I wanted to convey her attitude and style more than what her costume would look like, so she's wearing biker-type clothing mixed with some rocker chick stuff. She doesn't have the claws on her feet simply because I didn't feel like putting them there. I based her primarily on Mila Kunis.

This piece wasn't done in my normal style. I was inspired by a fellow deviantart member (username: njoo) to try my hand at a more anime-based style, which I've done in the past. I don't think it came out quite anime, but I've always admired anime and love the way some of the techniques attributed to this piece.
